Charities benefit as proceeds are donated to groups like Samaritan’s Purse (disaster relief). Sharon, the owner, takes no salary.
Consignors benefit when their gowns sell, and gown donations are welcome.

I enjoy creating custom decor items, rental backdrops I’ve fabricated, table decor items, and other custom floral pieces.
Alterations
My first thought for the alterations part of my business was (wait for it) “the old sew and sew”. But perhaps “Seams Right” is a better name.😁 My rates are less than most seamstresses charge as I consider myself to be an apprentice, but have had to turn almost no requests down. I charge $20 per hour for actual ‘work’ time. I keep hearing that other seamstresses are booked for weeks in advance, but my turn-around time is 1-2 days for most all jobs. I work from my home, so evening appointments are fine. I do lots of Hems, taking in, adjustments, and even a few fabrication items (bolero, overskirt).
About Me
I’m Sharon, an older widow blessed with good health, and a lot of time on my hands. I met my husband at Bible College and was married for 56 years. I am a bit of a jack-of-all-trades. I’m wired to stay busy. I create mosaic mirrors for fun in my spare time in addition to the Benefit Bridal activities. I’ve put in a few pictures of them. I have been a florist since my late twenties (mostly part time). I expanded the flower arranging to a bridal shop for a decade or so called Brideonabudgetshop. Covid ended that for a time.
